1 Birds Of Prey 1 Cover Proof By Greg Land Batman RareBirds of prey #1-cover proof by greg land! What do yo get for yourself, or that comic fan that you know? How about a classic comic book covre proof? This is a rare, un-cut, with no staple holes, final test cover proof for the comic book birds of prey #1, which features an awesome front cover artwork by greg land. These are the original front and back covers printed to wrap around the interior pages of the publication. They are printer's proofs sued to make sure the colors were correct, and that the artwork was correct (like no over-lapping of words, lines or colors). The interior cover pages, mostly ads for other comic books, advertisements, and/or in some cases writer/artist credits are there. The measurements are approximately 13-3/4 by 11-1/2(when unfolded), easily framed and put up for display if you choose! They make a great gift ofr comic book collectors or fans of classic comics.All you need is a frame! The cover proof has very little wear for a proof, and if it were a full comic, it would grade in the vf- to possibly a vf. I understand that comic grading is subjective, but i have been grading comics for over 20-years, and i have been submitting books to cgc for as long as they have been around(with the majority of a cgc graded comics grade being achieved by the front and back covers) i have also had other coimcs with similar cover flaws graded by cgc in the above mentioned ranges so, as stated in descriptions, i have had comics with similar flaws as the above cover proof, and the grade ranges listed for the above mentioned proof fall in line with cgc grading tiers(i tend to be a stickler on grading, so i would rather be too harsh and undergrade than not harsh enough and overgrade)! So, for you fans of the birds of prey. For you fans of greg land, and ofr you fans of rare comic cover proofs. This is the one for you! If there is or will be some.
