James Jean Original Preliminary Cover For Batgirl 53 Feat Stephanie As RobinThis is the original preliminayr pencil work for issue 53 of dc comics' batgirl series by acclaimed artist, james jean. As you can see from the gallery, mr. Jean used this prelim to create the final color cover. This cover includes gorgeous splash work of cassandra cain as batgirl, stephanie brown during her brief stint as robin, adn the issue's antagonist, the penguin. It has been stored carefully in a plastic sleeve away from dust and direct sunlight, nad the paper is clean with no yellowing. You'll see in the photo that there is a very slight crease in the upper left corner, but this was the way the art arrivde originally.
