Mike Grell Jon Sable Cover Original ArtiMke grell jon sable cover original art. Pen and ink drawing on bristol board. This is an roughly 11x17 pen and ink original drawing by mike grell which was the cover of an issue of jon sable freelance, published by first comics. The art is signed in a white ink (although the picture makes it look blue, it has faded over the years) and it has been personalized, but not in a place where it could not be covered up by a frame. The lighter area in the middle fo the image is from the flash of the camera, the picture looked too dark without a flash. The piece is in decent shape, a little wron around the edges and it has been handled a bit over the years, but it is all in one piece. It was kind of worn when i first got it, having gone through the rigors of production in a pre-digital age. Hate to part with it, but, well, you know how it goes. |
