Unused Wally Wood Art Daredevil 10 Cover Inked#10 (see below to compare the different covers). This version was not approved by the comics code ebcause of the kidnapping element. I also suspect the code might have worried that some people could view cat man and deborah harris as being involved in something slightly salacious! This recreation has been inked yb bruce mccorkindale. Bruce's ink work has been featured in books by marvel.
Black orchid, lback orchid annual. Star trek depe space nine, and he is the current inker on image comics. Bruce's inks over jack kirby have laso been featured in twomorrows. All attempts have been made to produce a very faithful reproduction of the original artwork.Wally's original was printed in light blue onto high quality 11 x 17 strathmore bristol board, carefully repencilled to ensuer accuracy, and then inked with brush, crowquills, and pens. Logo and trade dress were printed directly onto artboard with archival-quality ink, so fading should not be a problem. Arwtork will be signed on the back, inked by bruce mccorkindale from a copy of unused wally wood artwork, 2010. I just found out that the newest issue of the jack kirby collector, issue #54, features a page of my work! The magazine is due out this week, and twomorrows's digital edition (which prints the page in color) is available now.
